There’s been some tragedies around the United States recently, and I see so many people on social media post, “Sending our thoughts and prayers.” I was just thinking the other day that at times this seems somewhat meaningless at times. Are people really thinking and praying? Or are they just saying that? I’ve always struggled with that and I rarely make those kind of posts…but I often will actually stop and say a quick prayer for whatever the post was about.
Today I stumbled across the article linked to here. Please read this article, it’s quite eye-opening for us believers and really sent as message to me.
Are you ‘sending thoughts and prayers’ or are you on your knees praying? There’s a difference.
